Description

You will manage and optimize data persistence layers for application development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient database structures in PostgreSQL and MongoDB that map to business objects.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures using languages such as TSQL.
• Monitor and tune database indexes and queries to maintain performance as loads evolve.
• Troubleshoot application data components in collaboration with developers.
• Plan and execute data migrations from on-premise SQL Server to cloud databases, including Google Cloud for analytics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration (DBA).
• Expertise in PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with MongoDB.
• Experience creating and optimizing database schemas for application needs.
• Familiarity with TSQL for stored procedure development.
• Experience analyzing and migrating legacy SQL Server data stores.
• Ability to assist with existing SQL Server infrastructure until full migration.
