POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Application Developer to support and optimize mission-critical data migration and ETL operations within our Application Managed Services group. The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across Ab Initio graphs and data pipelines to ensure continuous delivery with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate brings strong operational experience in high-availability environments and thrives in active issue resolution.


DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Ab Initio graphs, batch jobs, and ETL pipelines.

·       Perform root cause analysis by debugging failed jobs and analyzing system/data logs.

·       Coordinate with upstream and downstream systems engineering teams to implement permanent operational fixes.

·       Execute Unix/Linux shell scripts and manage job schedules utilizing tools like Control-M or Autosys.

·       Develop, optimize, and execute SQL queries and interface with Oracle databases and Java components.

·       Provide active participation in a 24/7 rotational support model adhering strictly to defined SLAs.

REQUIRED SKILLS (Must Reflect in the resume)

·       Ab Initio Extract Transform Load (ETL) Tool (5+ years)

·       Oracle Database & SQL Development (5+ years)

·       Java Programming Language (5+ years)

·       Unix/Linux Shell Scripting & Job Schedulers (Control-M / Autosys) (4+ years)

CANDIDATE PROFILE The ideal candidate is an experienced ETL Application Developer with a strong foundation in enterprise data integration and production support. They should be a disciplined problem-solver accustomed to working in structured, multi-tier team settings. A proactive attitude toward debugging and root cause analysis combined with strong written and verbal communication skills is essential.

Job Responsibilities

·       Monitor and maintain Ab Initio ETL graphs, batch processing, and system jobs.

·       Troubleshoot production issues, analyze log files, and deliver root-cause resolutions.

·       Utilize Unix/Linux shell scripts and job scheduling tools to ensure seamless data flows.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to support and improve data integration interfaces
