Description

You will develop and maintain back-office web applications supporting legacy revenue systems and contribute to the New Fare Payment System.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom modules, APIs, and backend services using Python.
• Build and deploy real-time transaction systems for fare and ticket validation.
• Develop web application front-end interfaces for internal and external customers.
• Support release planning, deployments, and configuration activities within AWS.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code-review sessions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python development, including Django and FastAPI.
• Hands-on AWS Cloud Development experience, specifically with API Gateway, IAM, Serverless, and EKS (Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and responsive UI development.
• Proven experience building customer-facing APIs and web-based applications.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with GitHub or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with web security best practices and object-oriented design.
