Description

You will own end-to-end production support for AS400 / IBM i applications, ensuring system stability and resolving complex technical issues.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, job, interface, and system operation issues.
• Monitor and manage jobs, queues, messages, and scheduled processes to ensure accurate execution.
• Perform root-cause analysis, document knowledge, and implement preventive measures.
• Read, analyze, and debug complex legacy code to maintain system integrity.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application support.
• Strong hands-on experience with AS400 / IBM i technologies.
• Proficiency in RPGLE, CLLE, DB2, and SQL.
• Ability to monitor job logs, spool files, and system utilities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating in a high-pressure support environment.
