Description

Build and deploy scalable software applications using Scala and Java within an Agile environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop Object-Oriented components using Scala and Java.
• Build REST JSON-based APIs using the Play framework.
• Design software interactions with PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement data validations via pattern matching and regular expressions.
• Produce SDD, TDD, and FDD design artifacts for the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Scala and Java.
• Experience building REST APIs with JSON.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying applications via OpenShift on AWS.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).
• Ability to create Technical Design Documents.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
