Description

You will own the development and modernization of the wire transfer technology platform, focusing on high-availability payments systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core wire transfer processing logic using ACI MTS, COBOL, and Java/J2EE.
• Manage Oracle database objects including PL/SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Execute production support and issue resolution for high-availability financial systems.
• Modernize legacy platforms by integrating APIs and automating workflows on Unix/AIX.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulatory compliance and risk mitigation standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Must-have expertise with ACI Money Transfer System (MTS).
• Strong proficiency in COBOL within financial services environments.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE and legacy system integration.
• Solid understanding of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and triggers.
• Experience with Unix/AIX scripting, debugging, and automation.
• Deep knowledge of wire transfer and payments processing (SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS).

Preferred Skills

• Experience modernizing legacy systems or integrating APIs into financial platforms.
• Knowledge of financial regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
