Description

You will maintain and build the Maryland Health Connection system and related components across cloud and traditional infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to set up and maintain the application ecosystem.
• Provide technical support to ensure adherence to CI/CD pipeline standards when consuming cloud services.
• Automate end-to-end operations of applications and systems using AWS cloud services.
• Design, build, maintain, and document technical processes and operations.
• Develop tooling and automation to configure, deploy, and maintain cloud technologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years designing, developing, or supporting enterprise IT platforms.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with DevOps processes in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
• 5+ years experience in automated configuration and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform.
• 4+ years experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Automation, and Orchestration.
• 4+ years experience with infrastructure design and application deployment in AWS.
• 2+ years experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Maven, and scripting.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, EBS, ELB, ECS, EKS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and RedShift.
• Experience with app and web server configuration (JBoss, Apache Tomcat, or similar).
• Proficiency in Python or Ruby, and experience with Docker and Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Nginx and PostgreSQL.
