Description

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications, integrations, and automation solutions for Consular Affairs programs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle development, from requirements analysis and solution design to coding, testing, and deployment.
• Implement software enhancements and modernization efforts to improve usability, reliability, and mission effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain APIs, services, and integrations connecting enterprise systems and data sources.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and product teams to ensure performance, security, and compliance.
• Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement in production environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with modern programming languages: .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js for backend service development.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or OCI.
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance tuning.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, implementing DevSecOps practices, and using automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to work within secure, regulated, or government environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
