Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications, integrations, and automation solutions supporting Consular Affairs programs.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and operational support.
Implement software enhancements and modernization efforts to improve usability, reliability, and mission effectiveness.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, database, and product teams to ensure applications meet performance, security, availability, and compliance requirements.
Develop and maintain APIs, services, and integrations that connect enterprise systems and data sources.
Support troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities across production environments.
Contribute to secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, and alignment with cybersecurity standards.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
Provide ongoing support for deployed applications, ensuring stability, scalability, and readiness for evolving mission needs.
What You’ll Need:
Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) and containerized environments.
Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance tuning.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
Ability to work within secure, regulated, or government environments.
