Description

You will research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and application software, leading development efforts and supporting end-users.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and modify enterprise-wide systems and application software.
• Consult with project teams and end-users to identify and define application requirements.
• Direct, assign, and review the work of other software developers on the team.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and provide customer support for application issues.
• Prepare comprehensive test plans, conduct tests, and analyze results to recommend corrections.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of related software development experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and C#.
• Experience with ASP.NET, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Ability to use PowerShell for scripting.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with Perl and PostScript.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with relational databases, database programming, and data structures.
• Experience working on an Agile SCRUM Development Team.
• Familiarity with USCG ALMIS/ACMS/EAL systems and INGRES database applications.
