Description

Lead application development teams within a mainframe environment, owning the full SDLC from requirements to release.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor developers on technical issue resolution, tool usage, and best practices.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality standards and adherence to best practices.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical architects.
• Execute all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of application development team lead experience in a mainframe environment.
• 7+ years of RPG development experience.
• 7+ years of relational database development experience.
• 7+ years of experience with CLLE command language.
• 7+ years of experience with DDS for interactive screens, menus, files, and report definitions.
• Deep understanding of database system constraints, referential integrity, and database normalization.

Preferred Skills

• DB2 experience.
