Description

You will lead application development efforts within a mainframe environment, owning the full SDLC from requirements to release.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor developers on technical resolution, tool usage, and best practices.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical architects to align delivery.
• Execute tasks across every phase of the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of application development team lead experience in a mainframe environment.
• 7+ years of RPG development experience.
• 7+ years of relational database development experience.
• 7+ years of experience with CLLE command language.
• 7+ years of experience with DDS for Interactive Screen, Menu, File, and Report definitions.
• Deep understanding of database system constraints, referential integrity, and normalization.
• Proven experience working through all phases of the SDLC.

Preferred Skills

• DB2 experience.
