Description

Lead application development efforts within a mainframe environment, supervising technical resolution and mentoring developers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor application developers on technical issues and best practices.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with business users and technical architects to define requirements.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Execute development tasks through all phases of the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of application development team lead experience in a mainframe environment.
• 7+ years of RPG development experience.
• 7+ years of relational database development experience.
• 7+ years of experience with CLLE command language.
• 7+ years of experience with DDS (Interactive Screen, Menu, File, and Report definitions).
• Deep understanding of database system constraints, referential integrity, and normalization.

Preferred Skills

• DB2 experience.
