Description

Lead application development teams within a mainframe environment, overseeing technical resolution, tool usage, and project delivery.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor developers on technical issue resolution and task completion.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, and architects to align solutions with business needs.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Manage development activities through every phase of the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of application development team lead experience in a mainframe environment.
• 7+ years of RPG development experience.
• 7+ years of relational database development experience, including DB2.
• Deep understanding of database constraints, referential integrity, and normalization.
• 7+ years of experience with CLLE (Command Language).
• 7+ years of experience with DDS (Interactive Screen, Menu, File, and Report definitions).
• Proficiency in the full SDLC.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing multiple concurrent development streams.
