Description

You will develop and maintain desktop applications for Windows and Linux platforms, owning the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build desktop applications using object-oriented design and C/C++ programming.
• Create graphical user interfaces (GUI) using MFC and GDI+.
• Implement hardware interaction via RS-232, Ethernet, and USB protocols.
• Develop Win-32/MFC-based DLLs for modular architecture.
• Manage client-server communication, file-handling, and database integration.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in desktop application development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on use of Visual Studio .Net 2019, VS Code, or Eclipse.
• Practical knowledge of Win-32/MFC-based DLL development.
• Experience implementing RS-232, Ethernet, and USB hardware protocols.
• Competency in GUI development using MFC and GDI+.
• Understanding of client-server communication protocols.
• Ability to manage database usage and file-handling operations.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Open Street Maps (OSM) and GIS.
