Description

You will lead the modernization of mainframe systems, developing code for in-place upgrades and migrating applications to cloud platforms including z-cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL, Java, and Microservices-based applications.
• Execute migration of mainframe workloads to cloud environments and edge computing setups.
• Implement network security protocols for off-premises and SaaS applications.
• Manage DevOps pipelines and container orchestration using Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in application development.
• Proficiency in COBOL, Java, JSON, and API design.
• Hands-on experience with Db2, CICS, WebSphere, and MQ.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and network security.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven track record of maintaining stable tenures (3+ years in roles).
