Description

Lead backend development efforts in an Agile SDLC to build efficient, scalable solutions. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Python and microservices architecture.
• Deploy cloud-native applications across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud infrastructures.
• Collaborate on Proof of Concepts (POCs) and conduct performance testing using tools like Dynatrace.
• Implement application security protocols including encryption, SSL, JWT, and authentication/authorization.
• Coach junior engineers and influence technical strategy through peer reviews and architectural discussions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience focused on backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub, Docker, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Deep understanding of database concepts such as DDL, DML, indexing, and partitioning.
• Knowledge of design patterns including MVC, Singleton, Factory, and Producer/Consumer.
• Familiarity with GenAI and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Experience in the finance industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend development experience with JavaScript, Angular, React, or Vue.js.
