Description

This is an individual contributor role focused on developing and maintaining high-value wire transfer systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support wire transfer systems using ACI MTS.
• Write and maintain COBOL programs for legacy payment modules.
• Design and implement backend and integration logic using Java/J2EE and Oracle.
• Perform shell scripting and job automation on Unix/AIX environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Dev, QA, and Production environments.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with ACI Money Transfer System (MTS).
• Strong development expertise in COBOL, particularly in financial services.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, including legacy system integration.
• Solid understanding of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Experience working on Unix/AIX systems for scripting and automation.
• Deep understanding of wire transfer and payments processing systems (e.g., SWIFT, Fedwire).
• Experience in production support for high-availability systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience modernizing legacy systems or integrating APIs into financial platforms.
• Knowledge of financial regulatory compliance in payment systems.
