Description

Build and maintain backend services within a distributed microservices environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST APIs and event-driven systems using Java and GoLang.
• Implement serverless architectures and manage key-value or document databases on AWS.
• Decompose high-level problem statements into actionable implementation tasks.
• Identify integration points within complex architectures to support new feature delivery.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and GoLang.
• Experience building REST APIs and working with event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically serverless architecture and AWS CDK.
• Experience with microservice architecture and large-scale distributed compute services.
• Experience with key-value stores or document databases.
• Ability to work within US-Eastern time zones.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability to disambiguate requirements and communicate technical status clearly.
• Any Graduate degree.
