Description

You will develop and maintain database solutions using T-SQL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Modify and maintain T-SQL stored procedures, views, user-defined functions, and SSIS packages.
• Triage and resolve production support tickets related to data integrity issues, applying SQL-based fixes.
• Investigate root causes of data issues and recommend long-term preventative solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization for high-traffic database queries.
• Track fixes and outcomes for audit and compliance documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development and software development.
• Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, including CTEs, window functions, joins, dynamic SQL, and error handling.
• Strong experience with stored procedures, scalar/table-valued functions, and views.
• Proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and working in live production environments.
• Experience using TFS as Source Control.
• Experience with Agile Scrum project development methodology.
• Familiarity with SSIS, including modifying existing packages and debugging workflows.
• Experience programming business requirements in SQL Server 2012 and later.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C#, .NET, HTML, or other web front-end technologies.
• Experience with State Government, Medicaid, CHIP, or DHR business areas.
