Description

You will own the backend and API DevOps lifecycles for cloud-native microservices, building Java-based services and automating CI/CD pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Java microservices using Spring and Hibernate.
• Design and implement reliable REST and JSON APIs.
• Automate backend CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Spinnaker.
• Deploy containerized applications on GKE, EKS, or OpenShift in public clouds.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and resolve architecture challenges.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java.
• Proficiency in the Spring Framework and Hibernate for persistence.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database interactions.
• Experience with at least four of: BMC Remedy, Kinetic, Apptium, Python, React, or Java.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GCP Cloud Build, or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and web protocols (HTTP, TLS).
