Description

You will develop and maintain secure, scalable Java-based web applications and features.

Responsibilities

• Translate product owner requirements into working Java solutions.
• Design, code, and refactor application features to improve behavior and resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical leadership for the IT delivery of new application features.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD).
• Debug code to fix application bugs and solve complex production issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java coding and application design.
• Experience with Spring, EJBs/MDBs, and Messaging APIs.
• Hands-on work with XML, JSON, XPath, and XSLT.
• Proficiency with Hibernate and ORACLE (Stored procedures and SQL queries).
• Experience with RESTful APIs (Swagger, Postman) and SOAP-based web services.
• Use of Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEs.
• Version control and CI/CD experience using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Stash, and SonarQube.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with automated testing using Selenium, REST-client, and Postman-Newman.
• Familiarity with MQ IBM Datapower, H2-database, and Dropwizard.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science.
