Description

Maintain and evolve legacy applications using PowerBuilder and related technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and document existing program code and business logic.
• Troubleshoot existing applications and resolve routine support tickets.
• Present complex business rules to third-party vendors and contractors using graphic tools.
• Perform top-down testing through application interfaces in 4GL and PHP to grasp business concepts.
• Collaborate within an Agile development environment.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of programming experience with PowerBuilder and PFC (PowerBuilder Foundation Class) libraries.
• Experience with Informix or Oracle databases and associated database tools.
• Proficiency with PowerBuilder source control tools such as Microsoft VSS.
• Experience working in Agile teams and following Agile development methods.
• Ability to perform top-down testing on applications coded in 4GL and PHP.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting programming and business logic.
• Any Graduate degree.
