Description

You will own the development, deployment, and operational stability of complex microservices within a cloud-native environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable microservices using Java or JavaScript on AWS EKS and EC2.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and implement GitOps workflows with FluxCD or ArgoCD.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and container orchestration with Docker.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK/ECK stack.
• Drive the release of multiple software versions, ensuring stability across complex product deployments.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency with Neo4j graph database.
• Operational experience with at least one SQL platform (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and one NoSQL platform (MongoDB, DocumentDB, Neo4j).
• Strong background in Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, MSK).
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and at least one modern programming language (Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python).
• Demonstrated experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
• Experience with GitOps deployment tools such as FluxCD or ArgoCD.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Ability to manage complex software products and large-scale releases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C# or Python beyond the primary language requirement.
