Description

You will maintain and develop the Division of Waste Management application portfolio, focusing on Oracle-based software suites.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL database objects and DML/DDL statements.
• Support and enhance application suites written in Oracle Forms and PHP.
• Design and implement software using object-oriented methodologies and Unified Modeling Language (UML).
• Manage application code within Git repositories and utilize Jenkins for continuous integration.
• Identify potential design or specification problems through proactive foresight and sound judgment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Java application development using Struts/Tiles, Struts 2, Servlets/JSP, and JPA/Hibernate.
• 7+ years of Oracle database experience, including complex queries and PL/SQL development.
• 5+ years of Oracle Forms application development.
• 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
• 3+ years of PHP development using an MVC framework, specifically CodeIgniter.
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, NodeJS, React, or jQuery.
• Experience with responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Proficiency with database query tools including TOAD, SQL Developer, or SQL Navigator.
• Knowledge of relational database design, database security, and Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM).
