Description

You will manage the remediation and conversion of legacy reporting systems to modern database architectures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current Focus programs and WebFocus reports to document technical specifications.
• Convert WebFocus and Mainframe Focus queries into T-SQL queries.
• Collaborate with database administrators to develop database views and stored procedures.
• Update Focus programs and WebFocus reports to accommodate Florida PALM chart of account changes.
• Provide technical knowledge transfer to staff.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Tibco Mainframe Focus or WebFocus.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with IBM DB2 relational database management systems.
• Experience developing programs in mainframe Focus and processes in WebFocus.
• Proficiency in T-SQL.
• Familiarity with IBM mainframe and Job Control Language (JCL).
• Experience creating financial reports involving general ledger, purchasing, or revenue data.
• Understanding of data governance best practices and multi-source data implementation.
• Bachelor's Degree in technology or finance, or equivalent years of work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MS Power BI, IBM Cognos, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of the SCRUM Framework and ERP financial systems.
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing, Operational Data Stores, Data Lakes, or Master Data Management.
