Description

You will lead the modernization of the Market Risk Limit Monitoring system, transforming a monolithic 3-tier application into a scalable microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and build server-side microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Migrate legacy monolithic logic into independent, deployable services.
• Implement event streaming communication between services using Kafka.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs with JSON payloads.
• Utilize MongoDB and caching solutions for data persistence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java.
• Deep knowledge of class loading, garbage collection, and the Java Collections API.
• Strong proficiency in multithreading, concurrency, Reflections API, and Java Streams.
• Extensive experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Rest API development.
• Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, and JIRA for DevOps workflows.
• Solid understanding of Computer Science principles, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka for event streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with MongoDB from an application developer perspective.
