Description

Design, build, and automate middleware platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate middleware platforms on-premises and in the cloud.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Networking, Security, Storage, and Database teams to implement platform rollouts.
• Produce reusable infrastructure and middleware design patterns.
• Automate daily support functions to improve system stability and efficiency.
• Coordinate non-functional requirement testing signoffs with development and business teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as an application or middleware specialist.
• Expert-level Python and Shell scripting skills.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux/Unix, Storage, and Networking.
• Hands-on experience with load balancers, web servers (Apache/Nginx), and application servers (Tomcat).
• Experience with Docker/Podman containers and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Practical knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Proficiency with IT automation and configuration management tools like Ansible and Helm.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, and Flux.
• Working knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, and Airflow.
• Experience with open-source observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or Loki.
