You will lead application development and systems analysis initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture blueprints. You own the integration of complex business processes and resolve high-impact technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM development.
• Define and enforce coding standards, testing protocols, and debugging procedures.
• Partner with management to integrate functions and identify necessary system enhancements.
• Coach mid-level developers and allocate work to ensure project delivery.
• Assess risk in business decisions to safeguard client assets and firm reputation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Applications Development or systems analysis.
• Deep proficiency in COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
• Strong background in system analysis, programming, and project management.
• Experience in applications development and system architecture design.
• Ability to manage and implement successful software projects.
• Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of applications development.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in business process evaluation and infrastructure integration.
