Description

You will integrate applications to conform to standards using common build, QA, and deployment processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain shell, Perl, or Python scripts to automate application configuration and installation.
• Configure and manage Apache, Tomcat, Tuxedo, IBM MQ, and in-house platforms.
• Create and maintain documentation to support the full application life cycle.
• Provide 2nd level QA and production support via on-call rotations.
• Coordinate with development, QA, product, operations, and external vendors to ensure successful application launches.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Linux/UNIX experience, preferably Red Hat.
• 4+ years of programming or scripting experience in Korn, Bash, Perl, or Python.
• 3+ years of experience managing UNIX applications including Apache, Tomcat, and Java-based stacks.
• 3+ years of experience with UNIX services such as system monitoring/SAR, routing, NSCD, DNS, LDAP, and NTP.
• Proficiency with networking and database concepts and technologies.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Big Panda, or ITRS Geneos.
• Experience using Atlassian applications (Confluence, Jira) and source control (Git, Subversion, Bitbucket).
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with online brokerage or fintech platforms.
• Knowledge of Tuxedo, IBM MQ, JDBC, or database clients like Oracle and Sybase.
• Experience deploying in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS) or using container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
