Application Engineer

Design, build, and support application environments for third-party and custom products, ensuring seamless integration with data and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data and ETL teams to define data requirements and ensure source availability for downstream processing.
• Coordinate ETL job development, verifying that data pipelines are correctly built, tested, and documented.
• Enable bulk data transfers via SFTP by setting up mailboxes, managing access, and configuring infrastructure.
• Configure and integrate APIs in collaboration with teams managing API gateways and related infrastructure.
• Document system architectures, data flows, and ETL processes to maintain clear records of solution enhancements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in system or application engineering.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and integration patterns.
• Proven experience working with APIs and API gateways.
• Hands-on familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Experience managing SFTP connections and bulk data transfers.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting both third-party products and custom-built applications within a unified ecosystem.
• Proven track record of building stable, scalable application environments across development and production.
