Description

You will design, implement, and maintain batch processing systems with a focus on workload automation and scheduling.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure batch job schedules, execution times, priorities, and dependencies to meet SLAs.
• Manage triggers, calendars, and execution windows for efficient resource utilization.
• Monitor job execution status, track progress, and investigate errors or delays.
• Maintain the batch scheduling system through software updates, security patches, and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD, migration-related incidents, and critical batch failures via on-call support.

Required Skills

• 6+ years managing Batch Scheduling Tools, including patching and configuration.
• 2-3 years hands-on experience with Redwood Run my Jobs for administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with application upgrades and installations.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and configuration skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Project and Operation teams to integrate batch processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM Tivoli Work Scheduler, Control-M, or ActiveBatch.
• Ability to write scripts to automate scheduling and monitoring tasks.
