Description

Support the development and extension of internal applications and data exchange processes.

Responsibilities

• Clarify requirements with cross-departmental colleagues and analyze operational processes.
• Adapt, customize, test, install, and commission software solutions and databases using scripting or programming languages.
• Create and extend data exchange processes via self-hosted or cloud-hosted interfaces.
• Document applications and provide user instruction.
• Identify and eliminate root causes when application malfunctions occur.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of practical experience as an application engineer.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages for application customization.
• Experience with Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Ability to perform basic database configuration and schema management.
• Skill in analyzing problems by reproducing issues and inspecting log files.
• Experience working within agile projects.
• Strong IT affinity and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Professional fluency in German and English.
• Any graduate degree.
