Provide technical support and quotations for valves and actuators in Houston, TX.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review and clarify customer inquiries to identify factors affecting cost, delivery, and conformance.
• Select, size, and price valves and actuators to meet specific customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather data for comprehensive quotations.
• Verify incoming orders against quotations and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate order entry.
• Prepare all necessary ordering documentation during the order entry process.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in an engineering or technical support role.
• Ability to evaluate technical factors in customer inquiries regarding cost and delivery.
• Experience in sizing and pricing mechanical components.
• Strong coordination skills for working with internal departments.
• Proficiency in preparing technical ordering documents.
• Bachelor's degree or any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of specific products, valve selection, and ASME codes.
