Description

You will act as a subject matter expert for specific software stacks, ensuring application health and optimizing performance across distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the health of both front-end and back-end applications.
• Identify root causes of application errors and deliver permanent code fixes to reduce operational load.
• Develop and automate self-serve tools to implement systematic fixes and enhancements.
• Manage code migration across environments and document all configuration changes.
• Coordinate with development and operations groups to resolve high-impact production issues.

Required Skills

• 1.5 to 4 years of experience as an application engineer.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript or Unix shell.
• Experience managing code migrations and monitoring performance metrics.
• Knowledge of Advanced Encryption Standards (AES) to ensure application security.
• Ability to perform deep-dive debugging to identify and implement code fixes.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining application security by ensuring no outdated or unsecured third-party products are in use.
