Description

You will develop GIS processes, scripts, and applications to support administrative workflows and state agency projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain administrative scripts, workflows, and documentation for the NEGIS Enterprise Portal.
• Design, code, test, and document applications through all development lifecycle phases.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve service or incident tickets for customer agencies.
• Automate and standardize processes using Python and other scripting languages.
• Consult with peers and business users to determine technical solutions for requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python scripting, specifically ArcPy and Pandas.
• Experience with ArcGIS API and REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with SQL and/or PostgreSQL database management.
• Competency with PowerShell.
• Ability to manage metadata and automate administrative processes.
• Strong technical writing skills for documentation and tutorials.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Enterprise Databases (v2016+).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Arcade.
• Proficiency using Visual Studio Code and Git.
