Description

Lead the end-to-end backend architecture and development using Node.js, ensuring scalable and high-performance systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and JavaScript.
• Integrate PostgreSQL for data persistence and Redis for caching, pub/sub, and job queuing.
• Build and manage services behind API Gateways to ensure consistent routing and request handling.
• Implement centralized logging using the ELK Stack and deploy applications on Linux-based Virtual Machines.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and optimize SQL queries for system performance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on backend development experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
• Strong experience designing and building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL with strong SQL and query optimization skills.
• Experience using Redis for caching, pub/sub, or job queuing.
• Experience working with API Gateways and microservices-based architecture.
• Hands-on experience with centralized logging using the ELK Stack.
• Experience deploying applications on Linux-based Virtual Machines.
• Strong understanding of REST API authentication, authorization, and versioning.

Preferred Skills

• Strong expertise in the Fastify framework.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.
