Description

You will lead large-scale Mainframe to Cloud transformation programs within the Airline industry.

Responsibilities

• Assess legacy systems, including C/C++, batch, and online transaction systems.
• Define target-state cloud-native architecture and establish phased coexistence strategies.
• Drive Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices adoption across core systems.
• Analyze complex C/C++ codebases and refactor or re-architect tightly coupled modules.
• Design and implement the API enablement layer for legacy systems.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in enterprise architecture.
• Experience with Mainframe technologies: z/OS, DB2, VSAM, JCL.
• Proficiency in C/C++ legacy systems analysis and refactoring.
• Expertise with PostgreSQL, including enterprise-level tuning and HA.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience implementing Kubernetes and containerization strategies.
• Proven ability to design high-throughput distributed systems.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale migration programs.
