Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable Kubernetes-based infrastructure and containerized applications on OpenShift.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and document microservices using high- and low-level design patterns.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, maintaining Helm charts for application lifecycle management.
• Write scripts to automate routine tasks for deployments, monitoring, and system maintenance.
• Manage multiple cluster environments and data centers, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in cloud-native development and DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience integrating OpenShift with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of OpenShift networking, Ingress/Route, TLS/SSL, and RBAC.
• Practical understanding of cloud services including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with container security best practices and 12-factor methodology.
• Experience with Kafka, Java, and Avro.

Preferred Skills

• Experience setting up vendor application Exstream Cloud Native on OpenShift.
