Description

You will manage the operational lifecycle of complex applications in cloud environments. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and deploy application release upgrades and custom changes.
• Set up new environments and deploy required solutions.
• Build and maintain proactive monitoring and alerting services.
• Manage change control, including building deployment and rollback plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical, high-severity incidents across multiple AWS services.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Application Support for 3-tier or 2-tier apps.
• Hands-on experience managing containerized/cloud-based applications (EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, VPC, VPN).
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Ansible, Python, Perl, Shell Script, or PowerShell.
• OS-level knowledge (Windows or Linux) and database skills (SQL, Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra).
• Experience with application servers/middleware (e.g., Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere).
• Understanding of Kubernetes, networking, and load balancers.
• Familiarity with APM tools like AppDynamics or DynaTrace.
• Experience with monitoring/ticketing tools such as OpsGenie or Nagios.
• Experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Operations team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Ruby scripting experience.
