Description

You will support AWS-deployed applications within the DevOps Applications division, managing production and non-production environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deploy applications and resolve service tickets based on priority.
• Troubleshoot application issues and develop defect fixes or enhancements.
• Maintain technical documentation covering architecture, design, and operational processes.
• Implement security enhancements and utilize static and dynamic analysis tools.
• Monitor services using AWS CloudWatch and observability tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting and developing Java applications.
• Extensive experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and JSP.
• Proficiency with Java build tools including Maven and Gradle.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience operating AWS services including Fargate/ECS, Lambda, EC2, EFS, and ELB.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps, including GIT and CI/CD build and release pipelines.
• Ability to triage production faults and maintain composure during outage scenarios.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automation.
