Description

You will manage application stability and resolve production issues within a Linux environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Handle outage calls, triage incoming issues, and implement fixes.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repetitive problems and service failures.
• Monitor application health using APM tools, batch monitoring, and service queues.
• Execute standard maintenance activities and follow established SOPs and ITIL processes.
• Troubleshoot batch failures, NAS/FTP issues, and web server errors.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Application Production Support on Linux platforms.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools including Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills for Linux, Windows, and Middleware (Apache Tomcat).
• Experience with scheduling mechanisms such as AutoSys.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Ansible, and uDeploy.
• Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks for Incident, Change, and Release management.
• Working knowledge of Oracle SQL and basic database administration.
• Ability to use Fiddler or Postman for troubleshooting HTTP failures.
• Understanding of networking topology, load balancers, and basic networking commands.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Banking domain.
• Experience with SRE practices, automation, and cloud technologies.
