Description

You will own the stability and resolution of large-scale production systems across on-premises and cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Triage, diagnose, and resolve critical incidents using ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Monitor system health and performance using observability tools to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python, Core Java, or .NET to streamline operational tasks.
• Manage batch scheduling workflows using Control-M and AutoSys to ensure timely data and application processing.
• Query and analyze relational databases using SQL to support debugging and data verification efforts.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Application or Production Support for enterprise-scale systems.
• Strong proficiency in Linux/UNIX environments, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Practical scripting or development experience in Python, Core Java, or .NET.
• Deep familiarity with ITIL frameworks for incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience administering job schedulers such as Control-M and AutoSys.
• Proficient SQL skills for working with relational databases.
• Experience supporting complex systems in both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Skills

• Support experience within the trading or financial applications domain.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and text processing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
