Description

You will manage application stability and resolve production issues within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex process flows by collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.
• Resolve production incidents using automation, tooling, and code-level fixes.
• Analyze complex SQL queries and scripts to identify and fix root causes.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes following ITIL frameworks.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in Application Support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Application Development.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Java and Unix (Red Hat Linux).
• Proficiency in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, Perl, or Ksh.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills to provide resolutions within short timelines.
• Understanding of data security and controls.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka, Microservices, or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Geneos, Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys.
