Description

What's the Job? 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade Python solutions for counterparty credit risk calculations and analytics.
• Build and enhance distributed and high-concurrency systems that support risk computation and reporting needs.
• Partner with Risk Managers, Business Analysts, Middle Office users, and technology teams to deliver requirements through the full SDLC.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and work with databases such as Oracle and/or Sybase to support data-driven risk workflows.
• Support production operations by participating in testing, deployment, and production support activities to ensure reliability and performance.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of enterprise software development experience, preferably within Financial Services.
• Strong hands-on Python development with solid object-oriented design and programming experience.
• Experience building scalable, production-grade applications and distributed/high-concurrency systems.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with databases such as Oracle and/or Sybase.
• Experience across the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
