Description

Develop and maintain high-availability, globally deployed systems for the FICC technology team. This role involves designing features for the FICC data platform and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for the FICC data platform using KDB.
• Translate complex business requirements into effective, scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in agile development processes and provide feedback to improve system functionality.
• Collaborate with global teams in London, Dublin, Singapore, and the US for seamless delivery.
• Design and develop ETL processes for data warehouses.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on KDB development experience.
• Proficiency in KDB/q, including deep understanding of q internals (tp, rdb, hdb, tick data storage).
• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Scripting experience in Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Experience designing and developing ETL processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent large-scale IT experience.
• Minimum 5 years of total professional experience.
