Description

Convert mainframe SAS processes to Oracle SQL/PLSQL and build Java/Python utilities to support migration and operational efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy mainframe SAS workflows to Oracle SQL and PLSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Design and develop Java-based user interfaces for process maintenance and operational support.
• Create Python utilities to automate tasks, enhance data processing, and facilitate migration efforts.
• Analyze existing workflows, optimize logic for Oracle execution, and collaborate with the technology manager on project delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven expertise in Oracle SQL and PLSQL development with a strong understanding of database optimization.
• Experience supporting or migrating Mainframe SAS processes, including knowledge of COBOL or similar legacy systems.
• Working proficiency with Python for automation, data handling, or migration tasks.
• Familiarity with Java application support and development.
• Experience using JIRA or similar workflow management tools within Agile environments.
