Description

Develop and maintain client/server applications using C#, Java, and .NET Core to meet business requirements. Migrate legacy VB.Net Windows Forms and WCF services to modern .NET Core WPF and API implementations. Partner with stakeholders to define workflows, automate processes, and document system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Program applications from specifications using C#, Java, .NET 6, and ASP.NET Core.
• Convert legacy VB.Net Windows Forms code and WCF calls into .NET Core WPF and API implementations.
• Design user screens, develop program specifications, and document system requirements and business rules.
• Debug, manually test, and perform unit testing on .NET Core ASP.NET MVC projects and prototypes.
• Identify root causes of system errors and log defects or enhancement requests in the helpdesk tracking system.

Required Skills

• Advanced programming experience with C#, Java, and .NET Core.
• Proficiency in MS-SQL, XAML, and WPF.
• Experience with .NET Core API, .NET Core ASP.NET, and MVC frameworks.
• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and client/server environments.
• Ability to break system specifications into manageable agile programming tasks.
• Experience with unit testing and debugging complex code migrations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Math, or related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines within allocated budgets.
• 1-2 years of business application development experience.
