Description

You will build and manage automation for code package and patch deployments to an on-premises Oracle OFSAA system.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Create new build and deployment automation for existing on-premises systems.
• Execute change management processes for software deployments.
• Document technical knowledge and operational procedures.
• Manage multiple assignments and competing deadlines.
• Analyze and solve complex system tasks through critical thinking.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in Engineering, Developer, or DevOps-related roles.
• 5+ years with Linux operating systems, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Deep understanding of file systems, permissions, system services, and privilege escalation using sudo and su.
• 5+ years with deployment and configuration automation tools such as Digital.ai Release and Deploy, Salt, or Ansible.
• Proficiency with Git, preferably Atlassian Bitbucket.
• Advanced Bash scripting skills.
• Intermediate Python scripting skills.
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle SQL) and Korn Shell scripting.
• Working knowledge of Apache and Tomcat.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience installing, building, and configuring Oracle OFSAA software.
