Description

You will own application security through code analysis and vulnerability management. You will identify security flaws in source code and ensure remediation within tight business timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAST and SCA reviews to identify security vulnerabilities in source code.
• Analyze codebases written in Java, JavaScript, Python, Angular, and Node.
• Communicate security findings and remediation steps directly to developers.
• Deliver security reports within strict business deadlines.
• Support development tasks using Java where required.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Information Security.
• 3 to 5 years of dedicated security experience.
• 2 years of Java development experience.
• Proficiency in analyzing Java, JavaScript, Python, Angular, Node, and regex.
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Hands-on experience with SAST tools such as Checkmarx or Fortify.
• Experience using SCA tools like BlackDuck.
• Ability to work on-site in Virginia.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with DAST tools such as Burp Suite Pro.
